Overview of our Rooms

Ochsensaal & Zunftstube connected 
(up to 100 guests)

The cherry wood panelling imparts elegance to our Ochsensaal and the adjoining Zunftstube. Both rooms can be connected or separated by a sound-proof partition.
When joined together, the rooms provide the ideal location for weddings with up to 100 guests. The seamless parquet floor between the two rooms is an ideal dance area.

Ochsensaal
(up to 60 guests)

The cherry tree wood and parquet floor gives our Ochsensaal its elegance. It can be seamlessly connected with the adjoining Zunftstube to form a large room.

Zunftstube
(up to 36 guests)

The cherry tree wood and parquet floor gives our Zunftstube its elegance. It can be seamlessly connected with the adjoining Ochsensaal to a large room.

Winter garden 

The winter garden flooded with light is the ideal location for an aperitif or a dessert and cheese buffet.

Gaststube
(up to 45 guests)

At the culinary heart of our traditional house, the restaurant with its panelling of local elm, coffered ceiling and a touch of Arlesheim’s history offers seating for 45. In a refined and cosy atmosphere, a wonderful meal can be enjoyed by couples or larger groups.

Birseckstube
(up to 25 guests)

The Birseckstube was completely renovated in 2012 and its atmosphere is characterized by the warm radiance of the cherry wood panelling and the old engravings and pictures of Arlesheim’s  Birseck castle from which the room takes its name.

Ermitagestube
(up to 16 guests)

For over 80 years the oak panelling of this room has given it a unique character and homely charm.  The Ermitagestube owes its special ambiance to the intimacy of the room and the old engravings of the Ermitage.

Village terrace

During the warm summer months you can enjoy our cuisine open air on our terrace called «Dorfterrasse» which offers  a good overview of bustling village life.

In 2020 we replaced the large umbrellas with a large awning, with which we can react flexibly to sun or rain. In warm summer nights you can enjoy a view of the marvelous stars when closed.
